Working as a mobile software engineer contributing to the iOS, Android and supporting backend codebases. Focused on providing good user experiences around their base landing page and exposing travel opportunities to them based upon user behavior
Worked on a brand new team focused on enterprise tools helping to build up their mobile ecosystem from scratch. Laid the initial groundwork for iOS development including setting up accounts, establishing initial patterns and workflows for day to day development
Developed a suite of applications and tools for internal employees to be used in market and vehicle production centers to facilitate daily operations. Primarily focused on iOS but supported .net server development in addition and some Android projects iOS work included: - Calendar views - Helped create views that displayed all events and activities at a given location, rescheduling flows, and setting operating resources/hours - Barcode scanner - Leveraged both a library and VisionKit to help scan barcodes (QR/2D) to help with asset management (e.g. location/status updates) - Survey engine - Designed and implement a server driven survey engine that supported dynamic surveys with various question types - Managed application deployment through an enterprise MDM .net/C# work included: - REST and GraphQL API design, implementation, and testing Database design, implementation, and testing - API service integrations in a microservice environment - Deployment/monitoring in Azure K8s environment
In addition to development work, helped to lead and organize the development efforts of multiple mobile products (iOS and Android). This involved liaising with development, business and marketing, both internal and external, to help provide timelines, status updates and general input to help make development decisions.
Helped to design, develop, and test multiple mobile applications on iOS and Android. Included freshly created projects as well as maintaining and updating existing applications. Projects included: Golfshot - Golf gps application that displays distance information for golf courses around the world. Includes a tee time marketplace as well as integrations with the USGA handicap system. This application consisted of Android/iOS but also included apps for Android Wear and watchOS. Golfplan (Now Revolution Golf) - An application that displays and plays a video catalog with various sorting, searching, and recommendation functionality. This application also included integrations with tvOS (using TVML) and Chromecast. CoachNow - A private social application that helps to keep coaches and athletes connected and engaged. The core functionality involves taking, editing, and posting various types of media into locations
Developed a variety of applications for private government contracts (SBIRs). Contracts involved prototype Android and Windows applications
