I am a third year medical student at Georgetown University. I wish to devote my career to pursuing interdisciplinary passions at the intersection of medicine, research, and business. I like anything and everything about the outdoors and sports.
- Healthcare Leadership Track
-Study relationship between SAH and depression -Elucidate pathophysiology of intracranial aneurysm affected by endothelial cells using 3D models and computational fluid dynamics -Analyze synchrotron microtomography data to improve computational models of coiled aneurysms -Organize patient and 3D print model data of cerebral aneurysms
- Develop a multiplexed-optical imaging technique to analyze morphological profiles of genetically perturbed cell pools - Work towards using pooled optical profiling to conduct large-scale screening for drug candidates of rare diseases - Train and mentor new research associates and high school interns from the Broad Summer Scholars Program
While many research programs for youth often offer opportunities for underrepresented students who are already interested in science, the SAY program aims to provide opportunities for those who may not be inclined towards science to begin with. Ultimately, the SAY Program aims to grow the next generation of investigators and innovators in science by providing underserved high school students hands-on research experience. -Provide local high school students who are far away from educational justice with an opportunity to work on current research projects -Teach basic science and train in basic technical lab skills -Bring current research projects from labs in the area to the classrooms -Partnered with SANS and awarded the Mary Gates Leadership Scholarship
-Help translate Korean to English (and vice versa) and write papers regarding cooperative governance in local areas, social economy, and welfare policies -Assist in searching, organizing, and analyzing data, such as social enterprise and cooperation, official development assistance, and gender equality index -Conduct interviews in Seattle area and Korea for cases studies regarding social economic and welfare policies, ODA, and local governance
