Regulatory Reporting, Global Prime Financial Services Operations. Leading the reporting requirements for the monthly submission to the regulator (Bundesbank) for AWV (Außenwirtschaftsverordnung) and DEPO (Depotstatistik) with focus on day-to-day management of query resolution, supervision of daily regulatory obligations while actively pursue improvements to processes focusing on controls, KPI’s and creating, publishing and maintaining SOP’s and metrics. Also responsible for REMIT reporting requirements to the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER), through the venues (EEX, ICE and Nasdaq). Other Regulatory processes previously covered are CPR RTS 21 (MiFID II Commodities Position Reporting) - uploading daily commodities positions through UnaVista, and MiFID II RTS 28 Top 5 Execution Venue Report. Key Achievements/Projects • Designed an Alteryx workflow that’s run daily for AWV completeness and accuracy check on the golden source (GMI) through to the end transaction report (GRACE), to identify breaks for further resolution. • Introduced tighter controls capturing manual high amounts posted in GMI that defaulted into the wrong AWV regulatory report, and worked with the relevant teams to standardise their posting description. This allowed for the additional rule setups to the downstream system to ensure a more robust STP and more accurate reporting to mitigate risk. • REMIT - Effectively monitoring daily reports on trades/orders via the exchange platforms. Uploading enriched data to the ICE exchange to complete our REMIT reporting requirements with known end client beneficiary IDs for European energy (gas and electricity). • Delivered a 4-month cross training to colleagues in India on regulatory reporting processes - move daily functions from London to Bangalore, reducing FTE headcount in London. • Worked with Technology as an SME to streamline processes/onboard manual processes onto systems for STP, implementing tighter controls.
