I worked in the field as a journeyman ironworker off and on through out the years occasionally taking on the role of Foreman. I left there for an opportunity with another contractor that had an exclusive contract. I've continue to work with Area Equipment on projects in the evening and weekends setting bridges. I've also assisted them by furnishing man power and keeping their regular employees working when they were slow.

  • Ironworker superintendent at MJ ERECTORS INCORPORATED
    Nov 2014 - Mar 2025 · 10 yrs 5 mos

Superintendent for 2 years until the company model reduced to 2 or 3 small crews, no longer requiring a Superintendent. I then took on the role of General Foreman where I was involved in Bidding, Planning and installation of all the jobs. Many projects throughout the city such as overseeing the installation of over 1000 feet of glass rail and sub steel for the Willis Tower expansion project, many sculptures for friends of the parks, John Henry sculpture at Tennessee Tech university, new training facility for Peoples Gas, Metal Buildings from anchors to completion and much more. Unfortunately in March of 2025 the company found itself with little work on the books for the year and I decided to move on until the forecast became more consistent.

  • Crew Foreman at Area Erectors Inc
    May 2009 - Nov 2014 · 5 yrs 7 mos

Served much of my apprenticeship with Area Erectors and after becoming a journeyman Ironworker I took on the role of Foreman. I left there when a better opportunity became available.
