With over 30 years of law enforcement experience in operational, specialist, Corporate and technical areas of the NSW Police Force, I have honed my skills in public safety solutions, emergency management, and strategic leadership. My current position is Director/Commander of Application Platform Services within Technology & Communication Services Command. I manage the major platforms of SAP, ServiceNow, Salesforce, as well as the Java development team, and Digital Experience focused on implementing digital applications to enhance the operational capabilities of police officers, ensuring they have the necessary technology to perform effectively in the field. One of my key achievements in the last 12 months was the rollout of MobiPOLs (mobile devices) to all operational police officers in the NSW Police Force,, significantly improving mobile capability and operational efficiency. My career has been dedicated to aligning technology with operational needs, driving innovation, and implementing change. I have led major projects that have transformed public safety operations, such as the Load Bearing Vest project, which reduced injuries and improved effectiveness of police officers. My secondment with the Northern Territory Police Force allowed me to establish the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Development Unit to assist indigenous employees had appropriate support to be successful, further demonstrating my ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage complex projects. I possess a deep understanding of the emergency management life cycle, including planning, response, recovery, and resourcing. My experience in managing public safety solutions and my technical vision for leveraging technology platforms to transform public safety make me a strong driver for innovative change. I am skilled at working with customers, account teams, and internal technical resources to align customer needs with platform capabilities and solution roadmaps.
