Helped the company to scrap stock information from financial websites on a large scale with python algorithms, automate the stock analyzing processes; specifically, I was responsible for the followings: 1. Communicate with the stakeholders to clarify the sources of the information they want. 2. Use python scraper to capture information from the web, designed and testes comprehensive filters to fetch the precise information. 3. Output formation: format the wanted information and write it into Python generated files.
The project revolves around analyzing customer demographics to help a mountain bike chain store identify customers willing to spend. Specifically: 1. Data quality assurance, data cleaning, binning and pre-processing. 2. Explore attributes that are correlated with customer spending, compile the findings. 3. Applied the techniques of data visualization, reported the findings with Tableau.
