About

We only have one planet, yet we're consuming its resources as if we have ten. It's time to change course and embrace sustainable practices before the irreversible climate catastrophe. Passionate about creating a healthier planet, I leverage my experience in the built environment to drive positive change in sustainability, seeking a career to make a meaningful impact on environment and social equity. As MOH Sustainability Manager, I led a team to reduce environmental footprint by 10% (water & electricity) through chiller optimization, energy-efficient lighting, and water-saving fixtures. I spearheaded a collaborative effort to establish a standardized sustainability reporting framework for healthcare agencies, promoting transparency and accountability. During my time at BCA, I spearheaded initiatives aimed at addressing climate change and enhancing sustainability. I led coastal adaptation efforts to protect Singapore from rising sea levels and collaborated with stakeholders to develop practical solutions like the Long Island Plan. From 2019 to 2022, I was instrumental in revolutionizing the Facility Management sector. I drove the adoption of technology and facilitated the transition towards an Integrated and Aggregated FM service model. My attainment of the Green Mark APFM certification and role as a Green Mark assessor highlighted my dedication to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. Armed with a MSc in Environmental Management from NUS, I have developed a robust understanding of sustainability principles and practices since 2012. My research and expertise encompass alternative energy sources, as demonstrated by my publication titled 'Wind: The Alternative Source of Power for Singapore after Solar Energy?' in the book 'Sustainability Matters: Volume 2: Asia's Energy Concerns, Green Policies, and Environmental Advocacy.' I recently enhanced my expertise by completing an Advanced Certificate in Driving Sustainability for the Future at SMU. As part of the program, I developed an Excel-based carbon calculator to track the Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions of supply chains. This project highlights my commitment to practical sustainability solutions and environmental stewardship. I am driven by a passion for effecting meaningful change and am dedicated to leveraging my skills and experience to cultivate a greener, more sustainable future for organizations and communities. Let us collaborate in paving the way for a sustainable and flourishing world.
