Machining/welding experiences has included tooling set-up, wicket gate line boring, bottom rings, discharge rings, draft tube liners and upper and lower stay rings. Overhaul, disassembly, rehabilitation/repair, and reassembly has included Kaplan, Francis and Pump/Turbine machines. Examples of scope includes, runner replacement, guide bearing replacement/rehab, headcover rehab, wicket gate rehab, wicket gate servomotor rehab, Kaplan runner assembly, Kaplan runner blade servo rehab, wicket gate linkage rehab/replacement, operating ring rehab, thrust bearing rehab, and balance of plant equipment installation/alignment to name a few. Maintenance experience has included diving for intake/discharge gate repairs and inspections, trash rack repairs, and equipment recovery.
