Pulsar Aero Global DAC is an independent aircraft investor and leasing specialist. We originate, structure and manage high value aircraft leasing transactions with a focus on mid to later life commercial aviation assets. Our team draws upon many decades of experience across the full spectrum of aviation finance, including Banking, Leasing, Structured Finance, Aircraft Trading, Aircraft Management and Engineering. Jason joined Pulsar as joint Managing Director in 2025 and is based in Lisbon Portugal, where he focuses on the companies airline and technical responsibilities. He is also a part of Pulsar's executive leadership team. Originally qualifying as an aircraft maintenance engineer, he has over 20 years’ experience in aviation financing, leasing, aircraft fleet management, project management and engineering. He has been involved in financing / aircraft transactions valued at in excess of $3 billion. Jason’s previous industry roles include: Head of Business Development at Stratos, Executive Vice President & Head of Marketing at Magi Aviation Capital, Fleet Manager at Virgin Australia, Senior Leasing Manager at TUI Travel, Aircraft Lease Manager at Air New Zealand and Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Ansett Australia. Jason holds a University Diploma of Technology Management from Deakin University, Australia and is an ISTAT - Certified Appraiser. Specialties; Aircraft financing and leasing, fleet management and analysis, aircraft investment management, aircraft acquisition and disposal and aircraft valuation, aircraft engineering and maintenance.
JCB Aviation was formed in April 2012 and is an an aviation finance & leasing consultancy company working with asset investors, airlines, financial institutions and other partners in the acquisition, financing, leasing, disposal and management of commercial aircraft. JCB Aviation was set up to provide expertise and guidance to Airlines and investors predominantly in the Asia Pacific region - on new and used aircraft financings, new aircraft acquisitions and aircraft technical and leasing management.
Mainly focused on the Asia / Pacific region, provide independent financial advisory services in commercial aircraft leasing and financing. Provide consultancy services to assist airlines to make the best financing choices for their fleet, and work with investors and manufacturers to find the right aircraft procurement or disposal opportunities in accordance with their respective investment strategies. Primarily focussed on the Asia / Pacific region in respect of origination and client and investor relationships, but also with a key role in the on-going lease and asset management.
