I am a UC Davis alumna with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Applied Chemistry. My emphasis in this major is forensics, so I am determined and willing to work alongside deputy coroners and assist with crime scene evidence. Although this is the career I want to pursue, I am very much open to work for companies that have positions needing chemistry experience. I am available to work as a laboratory chemist, laboratory technician, laboratory analyst, or similar. I have taken multiple environmental toxicology courses during my 2 years at UC Davis, and I have grown to love the subject and toxicology in the real world. I am also willing to work for a company who are in need of air quality testing, pesticide use, or smoke and drug testing. I have taken courses in analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, organic chemistry, general chemistry, forensic chemistry, instrumental analysis and environmental science & policy. These courses allowed me to achieve skills in GC-MS, LC-MS, HPLC, FTIR, as well as adhere to SOPs and GLPs. Outside of school, I have over 4 years of experience working in customer service. I worked as a barista at Dutch Bros Coffee, and at a local boba shop in my hometown, TeaZenTea. I was dedicated to my job and worked hard. I communicated with my coworkers every shift, and made sure every drink was top quality before I handed it to customers. The owner recognized my hard work, and I was promoted to manager at age 19. I was assigned tasks that required more work than usual, but I was able to multi-task and work efficiently, all while working at a fast-paced environment. With everything I have acquired through my college courses and previous experience, I would like to take these skills to work and contribute to any projects or research, creating a positive and organized work environment. Please feel free to contact me via direct message, or email me at [email protected] regarding my skills or qualifications. I look forward to connecting with you!
