Hello and thank you for visiting my profile! I'm a dedicated performing arts entrepreneur with a passion for bringing ideas to life. My expertise lies in all aspects of production management, from conception to marketing, sales, and team supervision, particularly in the recruitment of international touring artists and shows. I enjoy forging strategic partnerships with industry leaders to drive key business initiatives forward. I've had the honour and privilege of representing the international circus sector on a global scale with government, in forums, and for intangible heritage protection as director of the World Circus Federation - Under the patronage and presidency of H.S.H. Princess Stephanie of Monaco. I have achieved some notable successes, one closest to my heart is leading a campaign with the Kyiv Academy of Circus Arts that facilitated the escape of 294 Ukrainian students and 97 adults from Ukraine, as well as raising funds for their visas, legal support, food, medical needs, employment, costumes, props, and education. Additionally, I successfully advocated against several parliamentary inquiries that threatened our industry and independently raised funds and donations to renovate the Bell Rural Fire Station and build Ethiopia's first static circus theatre. My expertise extends to artistic direction for shows, events, and circus acts, with an extensive track record of winning multiple awards for my work accross France, Monaco, Russia, China, Belarus, Spain, and Italy. I'm excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals to create impactful change in the performing arts industry and beyond.

The Oceania Circus Guild is dedicated to advocating for the recognition and preservation of circus arts across national and international platforms. Our mission encompasses fostering connections among circus community stakeholders, supporting the advancement of circus as an art form, and preserving the values and traditions inherent to circus arts. A key objective is to secure cultural acknowledgment through organizations such as ICOMOS and UNESCO, as well as engagement with private sectors and government bodies. We strive to protect circus as an intangible cultural heritage, recognizing that cultural heritage extends beyond monuments and artifacts to include traditions and living practices passed down through generations. With support from the Fédération Mondiale du Cirque and Theatre Network Australia, the Oceania Circus Guild aims to achieve our intangible cultural heritage objectives by 2026. Recognizing circus culture as intangible heritage would help preserve this unique art form and provide essential support to address challenges the sector currently faces. This recognition would raise awareness about the cultural and historical significance of circuses, ensuring they receive the protection and funding necessary to survive and flourish. An intangible heritage listing would also encourage governments and communities to prioritize the preservation of circus traditions, facilitating access to suitable spaces, reducing regulatory burdens, and promoting financial stability through targeted funding and support programs. By securing this recognition, we aim to ensure that the rich legacy of circus arts continues to inspire and entertain future generations.
