I’m a 4th year PhD candidate in developmental psychology at UCLA. My research focuses on how positive human behaviors, such as prosociality, develop during the period of adolescence and how the adolescent brain and environment (e.g., family, culture) support these positive behaviors and well-being.
At Fundamentals of the Adolescent Brain Research Laboratory, worked on the ABCD Study is the largest long-term study of brain development and child health in the United States. Experiences include hands-on research and analytic skills on longitudinal studies of environmental and genetic factors that can impact brain and behavioral development and health outcomes. To gain a breadth in developmental cognitive neuroscience I also attended current work seminars in the areas of clinical psychology and neuroscience and attended weekly lab seminar series.
