• Served as an affiliate of the main ISPE body, supporting industry–academia engagement initiatives • Liaised with industry professionals and committee members to organize the Evonik Plant Visit and PharmaGuide Mentorship Programme for 50 university students across Singapore • Collaborated with NTU and Polytechnic student clubs to deliver professional sharing sessions and science camps, strengthening cross-institutional outreach
• Achieved a 70% improvement in product performance through formulation optimization • Designed and prepared formulations and conducted analytical testing using Zetasizer and rheometer • Developed and evaluated over 20 formulations to fine-tune product performance • Presented data-driven insights to stakeholders and proposed solutions to experimental challenges and project improvements
As Honorary General Secretary, I play an active role in organizing events designed to promote holistic student development, enhance the overall school experience, and cultivate a strong sense of belonging within the student community. Our club strives to enrich student life by creating a diverse range of meaningful and engaging experiences, from academic support to social bonding activities. We also collaborate closely with the school and other student organizations to deliver events that resonate deeply with the student body, ensuring that our initiatives foster personal growth, community building, and a vibrant campus culture.
As Social Director, I had the opportunity to lead and organize a variety of large-scale events, including Back to School, Halloween, CCEB Anniversary Day, and Dinner and Dance. These experiences strengthened my abilities in event planning, teamwork, and conflict management, while honing my adaptability and leadership skills. Working closely with diverse teams, I developed a keen understanding of how to coordinate effectively, manage challenges, and deliver successful events that foster community and engagement.
As a Summer Research Student, I conducted experiments focused on bacterial research and drug efficacy, gaining valuable insights into the effectiveness of various treatments. I developed proficiency in utilizing advanced instruments, including HPLC and mass spectrometry, to analyze data and enhance experimental outcomes. This experience has strengthened my analytical skills and deepened my understanding of the intersection between microbiology and pharmacology.
As a Lab Assistant, I contribute to BacPROTAC research by supporting and performing key experiments. In addition to assisting a PhD student with experimental procedures, I help with data collection, analysis, and troubleshooting during research processes. Throughout this role, I have gained hands-on experience with various laboratory equipment, including HPLC and MS, enhancing my technical skills and proficiency. This position has also deepened my understanding of advanced scientific methodologies and strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced research environment.
