Born and raised in Utrecht, the Netherlands, studied Spanish language and culture in Barcelona, lived within a British expat community in the south of Spain as a volunteer at several dogshelters and currently living as a digital nomad. Moving around the world with the woman of my dreams - who became my wife, our beloved dog and of course my macbook, notebook and dictionaries. I like to write about peculiar subjects such as “How to summon your dog’s inner genius” or “10 ways to conquer your phobia of house appliances” but have found that I also enjoy writing more fashionable articles. My sought-after writings range from Scientific scoops to Culinary craftiness, and the possibilities in between remain endless. As for Translating, my possibilities only come down to three: Dutch, English and Spanish. I aspire to being fluent in more than that, but lately, all new languages I come across seem to blend into one strange tongue. I suspect this to be the fault of my wife and our dog as they have convinced me to embark on a life of incessant travels. I am living the dream, and yet I cannot differentiate Macedonian from French.
