I am a security and resilience professional with a strong background in the defence sector and other security-critical environments, including industrial and critical IT & telecommunications domains. I have experience in leading and managing complex, high-impact programmes and security-critical projects, where requirements related to availability, classified information, authority cooperation and security of supply are central. My background includes expert and leadership roles within the Finnish Defence Forces, Wärtsilä and Elisa. My core expertise covers cybersecurity, security management, preparedness and business continuity, with hands-on experience in governance, risk management, audits, exercises and crisis situations. I am particularly familiar with defence-driven requirements and regulatory environments, and with translating them into practical, business-relevant solutions. Based on my experience, business continuity and preparedness are increasingly driven by customer and regulatory demands, yet are still insufficiently developed in many organisations. I see strong potential to integrate continuity more tightly into cybersecurity and risk management, especially in defence and critical infrastructure contexts.
