Based in the Brussels office (Belgium), I’m a member of the operations practice of McKinsey & Company. I support Clients in transformational journeys, both to respond to growth as to accommodate saturation. I focus on operational excellence and energy system optimization over different geographies and business areas (e.g., chemicals & materials, and consumer goods).
MYRRHA will be the next large-scale research reactor of the Belgian nuclear research center (SCK•CEN), total program budget of €1.6B. - Member of executive team, in charge of operations; - Senior manager of 3 unit managers and 5 staff (MEng & MSc PhD); - Annual budget of €50M; - Design & build first phase of the nuclear research facility; - Re-focus & re-align multinational team of researchers and engineers; - Regular reporting to Board of Directors and Federal government.
- Member of executive team, in charge of PMO; - Member of corporate business process management SteerCo; - Designed & implemented programme organization & governance structure considering a separate legal entity (AISBL) next to the existing organization; - Created and performed programme & enterprise risk analysis; - Prepared separate legal entity, and established new corporate management accounting approach for SCK•CEN; - Coordinated socio-economic impact assessment by PWC; - Regular reporting to Board of Directors and Federal government.
- Member of enterprise project management SteerCo; - Manager of a unit of 5 project managers (MEng); - Annual budget of €5M; - Designed & installed plant asset management process, and project management process; - Regular contact with nuclear safety authorities; - Provided in-company training.
- Executive MBA-project for IoT scale-up; - Direct collaboration with founders; - Developed new business model in preparation of the next capital round, through extensive network in nuclear sector; - Tailored new governance structure; - Focused on 2 territories: Western-Europe & China; - Estimated revenue increase of €2.5M, ramp-up of 4 years.
- Executive MBA-project for independent skincare start-up; - Direct collaboration with founders; - Created strategic / marketing plan 2019-2024, a combination of market penetration and product range extension.
- Managed multi-disciplinary projects (LTO) for the the nuclear power plant of Doel; - Involved staff of 20 engineers (Meng); - Provided in-company training.
