Ambitious senior manager seeking to drive improvements throughout whatever field I am in. I am a quick learning college graduate with around 15 years of supervising employees. I have been placed in charge of several improvement projects which have been very successful in driving both change and improvements in the CI department. I am constantly analyzing data to establish trends, areas to improve, or simply record metrics. I am proficient in Excel and have created many helpful databases as well as trend predicting workbooks. I have a good working relationship with our customers; they have a trust in my skills and expertise in the folding cartons and recycled paperboard I was awarded the Graphic Packaging Leadership award for 2013 in my first full year with the company for continuous improvement and won the award for the 2nd time in 2016 for customer support.
-Travel to customers using ND Paper products and assist with claims, trials and technical support. -Work with sales directors to develop partnerships with customers to provide value added solutions. -be the voice of the customer to the mills and ensure that efforts are focused on correcting previous root causes that affected our customers negatively.
Provide customer technical support for 3 substrates. Work with open market sales to ensure strategic partnership goals are achieved with our trade customers.
-Manage process chemical systems for 2 recycled paperboard machines including generating CI savings, improve efficiency, eliminate waste by utilizing chemistry -Work with buying group to ensure chemical inventory is maintained. -Responsible for coating formula and ingredients for 2 papermachines. SME for coating formulas at mill. -Responsible for overall mill quality -Supervise quality manager and process chemical engineer with 6 indirect reports. -
Supervise a team of salary-nonexempt quality inspectors that perform end of machine for 2 coated recycled board paper machines. Work with sales to help establish customers and provide feedback for not only mill related issues but my knowledge extends into the end use customers (breweries/bakeries/other packers). Investigate and provide acceptance or denial of claims provided to the mill. Act as the Voice of the Customer in our plant. Pass on customer related feedback to our production management team. Review quality data to establish trends and relay this information back to production team/hourly employees. Established new testing rotations to counteract the rebuild and consequent speeding up of our machines. Manage interns. Provide best standard practices between mills and carton plants. Work to maintain great working relationships with our customers.
