I am currently a PhD student studying Human-Centered Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I study ways to broaden participation in CS education to diverse K-12 youth through outreach programs in K-12 schools and educational game design. I am proficient at JavaScript, Python, Java, SQL, R, HTML and CSS. I also have experience using full-stack frameworks including TypeScript, Firebase, Node, MongoDB, Redux, ReactJS, and MaterialUI.

Helped design an online IDE to help K-12 students transition from block-based to text-based programming.
Advisor: Dr. Amy J. Ko Research focus: Interface design to teach intro CS students metacognition and self-regulating skills, and teaching ethical & critical thinking skills on STEM topics to high school students.
Taught 20+ students introductory programming in Python, and taught them how to create Reddit bots using PRAW Python API, and critically reflect on its ethical impacts.
I taught 30+ students server-side software engineering and how to create custom databases using JavaScript, Node, MongoDB, Express, and React.
I worked as a grader and tutor for 40+ K-12 students in Math and English. Graded over 100+ homework & classwork assignments every workday.
