With a robust background as a Chartered Accountant, my strategic and analytical skills have been pivotal in leading Westpac New Zealand's financial projects. At the core of my role is the successful handover of Westpac’s Life Insurance business, where I led the Reporting workstream, managing analysts and ensuring continuity of internal reporting from the Data Warehouse. My tenure at Gentrack Ltd honed my ability to spearhead financial planning and analysis, transforming planning and forecasting processes. The experience fortified my expertise in management reporting and molded me into a finance professional who thrives in navigating complex, transformative projects in the banking sector. The Office of the CFO enable the BNZ Executive Team to make good business decisions requires them to have the most up-to-date information and insights. The Office of the CFO is responsible for providing financial insights and forecasts to ensure BNZ stay at the top of their game and be the Bank for New Zealand. Key responsibilities: • Lead / undertake the end to end development of planning targets / policies for the Bank of New Zealand. Help Initiate programmes that support and enhance the planning / forecasting direction of the Finance function with business units. Manage and maintain the banks planning tools and systems. • Work closely with Business Units, Risk, Strategy and other finance teams as a catalyst to change and to provide strategic direction. • Responsibility to deliver accurate and timely financial analysis to meet senior management’s adhoc information requests. To provide expertise for special projects where a deep understanding of the total entity level financial and underlying drivers is required. • Support production of entity level performance reporting, analysis and insights produced by the Office of the CFO.
