I did all things web for our clients. Using HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, and PHP I built, managed, and troubleshooted websites. I also built and maintained the client side of a proprietary technology we sell using React.js.
I worked as a freelance web developer building and managing multiple local business' marketing websites.
I followed style guides and existing collateral to create wireframes and build mockups. I built new landing pages and website layouts, iterating improvements, in HTML and CSS using the mobile first approach then web. I applied layouts to WordPress templates and worked to improve multiple company managed website’s UX.
I managed the company's e-commerce website of over 5,000 products with a team of two other developers. I used JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, and Ruby on Rails to transition old web pages to a new Ruby on Rails platform while also developing new pages that simplified our user's shopping experience. I also gave guidance when needed in email marketing template design. I built, launched, and managed the company's WordPress blog in addition to working on long term projects for the company website. I collaborated with my team of developers and the marketing team to meat tight deadlines and quickly produce online sales tools.
