"As an independent recruiter and business owner I offered staffing services utilizing a fee-per-placement model, supporting tech companies in the expansion or revitalization of their technology teams. Through collaboration with a business partner, I managed a portfolio of 30-40 clients, encompassing both small startups and large IT enterprises. The central focus of our services was on facilitating the recruitment of candidates for permanent positions within client organizations."
As the Country Manager at Arrows Group NL, I led the Dutch office, overseeing two recruitment teams with a total of 12 FTE (permanent and contracts). Despite my managerial role, it's important to note that I was still always hands-on, actively managing recruitment activities. Arrows Group is a 360 Technology staffing agency, and in addition to handling hiring, retention, annual business planning, and ensuring the achievement of annual revenue objectives, I directly contributed to and supervised the recruitment processes. I reported directly to the UK CEO and MD.
In this capacity, I oversaw the Permanent Division, guiding and managing a dedicated team of five professionals. My personal annual target amounted to €150,000, complemented by a collective team objective of €750,000.
At Arrows Group, we introduced a recruitment solution called Oneday, which I spearheaded in the market. I conceptualized, organized, and executed the interview days, averaging 10 interviews per day resulting in 3-4 hires. On average, we conducted approximately two Oneday events daily. In addition, I managed key accounts and secured new business with customers who generated more than €150,000 annually.
