Key tasks: * Achieve sales growth and meet targets * Exploration, identification, growth and maintaining of market opportunities in Southern Africa * Evaluation of potential new markets and customers for other LC Packaging business units * Channel ideas for product and service innovation to LC Packaging at an international level * Maintain good relations with existing customers in order to ensure customer satisfaction. * Confer both internally and externally in order to keep up with market evolutions
In South Africa, LC Packaging sells packaging to the mining, chemical, fertilizer and food industries. The project consisted of optimizing the logistical setup, applying for lower import duties on the imported raw materials, launching and online store to target smaller African customers and identifying new markets in the neighboring countries. Successful entry in the Namibian market, taking over 70% market share after one year combined with establishment of local entity LC Packaging Namibia. First entry in Mauritius with scope for foundation of local entity. Added new key customers to the portfolio in Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Drafting a strategy for future successes in Malawi, Mozambique, Angola and Madagascar.
