My parenting journey throughout exciting and unknown challanges.
My role at Schoeller GmbH involved R&D and Innovation, textile chemistry, new product and process development with a strong focus to sustainability, innovation, problem solving, process management and continuous improvement, sustainability affairs (bluesign®, GOTS, ZDHC, REACH, RSL, RoHS), project leadership, structure patent strategies and IP management, licensing, new business development as well as built collaborative relationship leading to responsibilities for grant applications. In the area of Innovation, the developed, patented sustainable process won the “Best Innovation Award ITMA 2014”.
The project focused in: • bedding textiles • clothing • textile products for hygiene and personal care, and • therapeutic and recreational/leisure textiles. The main aim is to bring together the elderly, social and medical care institutions, research institutions, technology transfer institutions and manufacturers to identify: specific requirements of the elderly and care institutions; latest developments in materials science and technology; and strategies to incorporate developments in the manufacturing chain. Main activities and responsibilities: • coordination consortium of 10 partners • linkage between consortium and European Commission • organising regular meetings of consortium and invited experts • reporting and collecting available information within the area of interest • follow deadlines • preparing presentations for meetings
A research Fellow - research on superabsorbent textiles and process/product development and optimisation including sustainability issues in textile technology, particularly in wool fibres - in collaboration with Schoeller GmbH & Co KG - Projekt EXP 3.0 (recently awarded with the Vorarlberg Innovation Award 2012, http://vorarlberg.orf.at/m/news/stories/2551932/ or http://www.vol.at/vorarlberger-innovationspreise-2012-an-sieben-unternehmen/3369680). In sport textile field I undergone a research on utilization of natural materials - wool, man-made fibres like viscose and lyocell as well as synthetic materials with focus on clothing physiological performance including sorption (moisture/water) and heat transport.
