Main strength: Design/ development of AC and DC traction and Industrial machines. Leadership, mentoring, guiding the next generations of engineers. Developed my own desig and proposal computer programs for AC&DC machines. Developed / designed a lot of AC & DC Traction - Propulsion (Railroad, Navy, People Movers etc.) and Industrial (Low and High Voltage, Wound & Permanent Magnet, Small, Medium and Large, Line & VFD fed) Machines for all kind of applications (Oil Industry, Mine Industry, Steel Production, Paper Mills, General Industry, etc.) for over 43 years. Trained, guided, mentored younger generations of design & production engineers. Submitted and implemented many-many innovations. Developed new series of machines for general and critical applications. Developed new windings for double VFD fed machines. Developed comlete design procedures for pulsating current fed DC traction & industrial machines, paying special attention to minimize reactance voltage and prevent flashovers. Developed computer program to calculate and graph line and transient voltage distribution between the commutator-segments. The program also predicts the "Black-Band" ( Non Sparking Zone). Developed design program for variable airgap traction & industrial motors. Developed computer design programs for synchronous main traction generators. With my teams: put into service locomotives, ivestigated & solved service problems, performed necessary repairs. Analyzed & solved locomotive system failures. Led teams to fix machine failures. Tried & failed to prevent distraction of factories. Educated future generations of engineers. Developed many comlete computer programs to quote & design AC/ DC traction, propulsion, industrial machines. Wrote many procedures for locomotive system analysis to find the root cause of failures.
