I am an experienced physical therapist and researcher with a special interest in acute stroke rehabilitation. Through research, I’m committed to finding pragmatic approaches to address clinical questions and bridge evidence gaps. Research: Stroke rehabilitation, with specialties early prediction of functional outcomes, interaction between motor and cognitive recovery, ICF-based assessment in (sub)acute stroke, application of movement sensors to monitor and improve performance, and development of a clinical practice guideline for physical therapy.
