I’m a seasoned Process Development Manager with over 20 years of experience in the board and paper industry, combining deep technical knowledge with a strong track record in operational excellence and continuous improvement. Throughout my career, I’ve held diverse roles in production, development, and investment projects, giving me a holistic view of manufacturing operations. My current role in an Operational Excellence team allows me to lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance productivity, optimize processes, and support strategic transformation across multiple sites. Certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt, I specialize in data-driven problem solving, profitability improvement, and performance management. I work closely with mill teams, sourcing, and suppliers—and actively collaborate with production and maintenance management teams—to drive improvements in product quality, process stability, and operational reliability. My responsibilities also include facilitating RCA and Lean trainings, coordinating wet end and refining surveys, and supporting digitalization initiatives such as mobile solutions and advanced analytics. Area: Production line 2 & Support to other departments Focus & Responsibilities: • Optimization of raw material usage and product cost • Product and process quality assurement and development • Interaction between chemical suppliers and the mill • Managing of mill scale trials in all process phases from wet end to finishing • Troubleshooting & rootcause analysis related to different process and quality problems • Taking part in technical investment projects • Managing selected development projects • Making Continuous Improvement with tools like Lean, Lean Six Sigma, statistical analysis, PDCA, DMAIC • Key user to RRS (Recipes & Raw materials System) and MICS (Mill Information & Control System)
Focus on paper machine time&speed efficiency and material efficiency as well as continuous improvement. Work safety was also a very integral part of the job.
