I am part of the Cross-Unit Litigation Team, which works office-wide on complex cases. My current caseload includes defending Colorado anti-discrimination laws and representing a variety of state agencies. I formerly worked in this office for the Financial and Community Safety Unit in the Revenue & Regulatory section as general counsel to the Division of Banking and Office of the Child Protection Ombudsman and litigation counsel to the Division of Securities in district court, the Office of Administrative Courts, and appellate court. I also am Assistant Solicitor General and work on drafting and oral argument preparation for appeals. I defended Colorado's conversion therapy ban and Universal Preschool Program against First Amendment challenges.
