As the Director of Marketing and Public Relations, I was responsible for planning and executing marketing and public relations initiatives for The Salvation Army’s Northwest Ohio Area Services (NWOAS). I oversaw seasonal programs and all special events. In this position, I maintained community relationships through the management of special events, networking, media contacts, and volunteer recruitment and development. I managed the website and social media avenues for The Salvation Army’s NWOAS.
As a Client Specialist I, I was able to take my knowledge of retail banking and refine it to work in the Commercial department. I expanded my knowledge of commercial loans and treasury management products in order to assist a number of officers in both the Public Funds and Commercial Real Estate areas. For many of my officer's clients, I am their first go-to person for problems and questions.
As a Customer Service Representative, I gained extensive skills in cash handling and vault balancing. I also worked one-on-one with customers to answer their questions and guide them into the best retail banking products to fit their needs.
