I am a Filipino community weaver based in the Tampere region and a Tampere Talent Ambassador, passionate about building inclusive, values-driven communities across cultures and generations. I bring over eight years of experience as a pastor and ministry leader in international congregations in Singapore and Malaysia, supporting singles, couples, and families through teaching, counselling, volunteer coordination, and community-building initiatives. My work has focused on fostering belonging, emotional wellbeing, and purposeful participation in diverse multicultural settings. Since relocating to Finland, I have worked at Wääksyn Puutarha in Kangasala and completed kieliharjoittelu with the City of Tampere, strengthening my Finnish language skills and gaining hands-on understanding of Finnish working life and early childhood education environments. I am the re-founder of the first Filipino association in Tampere and am known as an engaging and effective communicator, whether facilitating groups, speaking publicly, or presenting to partners. I am also a co-founder of an emotional intelligence education initiative that develops practical tools and trainings for parents, educators, and young people. I am particularly interested in roles within Christian organisations and NGOs focused on community building, integration, youth and family support, and peace-oriented initiatives. I am seeking opportunities to apply my expertise toward creating inclusive communities and spaces where individuals of all backgrounds can thrive, and I welcome conversations, collaborations, and opportunities that lead to meaningful social impact.
As a greenhouse staff member, I am primarily responsible for planting and harvesting of greenhouse-grown produce, as well as assisting in operating machinery related to seedling production. I also help in some weekly management tasks.
As co-founder and administrator, I remotely managed business operations and spearheaded the development and design of emotional intelligence tools (e.g., cards, charts, presentations). I handled website and social media management (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), driving engagement through targeted campaigns and content creation. I also provided marketing and business support, organized presentations for parents, teachers, and youth, and produced content for online publications. As education research specialist, I conducted in-depth research on socio-emotional learning (SEL) practices, assessments, and interventions to improve educational outcomes, contributing to the company’s evidence-based approach to SEL.
Kaukajärvi Daycare (Kaukajärven päiväkoti) - 3 weeks language training
As a minister, I provided spiritual leadership to members of the congregation. Some of my duties include preparing weekly sermons, leading Bible studies, preaching, teaching, and conducting worship services. I also provide pastoral care and counseling to church members and assist them in crisis situations. My main goals are to motivate people to love God, to serve one another, and to go and make disciples!
I was tasked to lead the church with missions as the primary focus. I was responsible for organizing mission trips, worship services, events, and activities to support the church. My main goal is reaching out to help others know God through Bible studies and community outreach. I also provided spiritual support to members of the church.
