Stockholm-based Data Scientist | MSc Data Science & AI (Distinction) I build analytical solutions that turn complex data into clear, decision-oriented insights. My work focuses on structuring messy, real-world data into models that support planning, prioritisation, and execution. With a background combining business and data science, I work at the intersection of modelling, structured thinking, and practical decision support. I’m particularly interested in problems where data is abundant but direction is unclear. My path into data started in Germany through a dual study programme in Business Administration & Data Analytics, where I applied machine learning to improve forecasting and reporting. That experience shaped how I approach analytics: models are only valuable when they connect to real decisions. During my MSc in Data Science & AI, I strengthened my technical foundation in Python, SQL, and machine learning, working on projects ranging from building chatbot to complex, high-dimensional scientific systems. Across this work, I focus on: - defining the right problem before modelling - building reproducible and interpretable pipelines - communicating insights clearly, including assumptions and limitations I work best in collaborative environments where data supports thoughtful decision-making, contributing structured analysis and helping teams move from ambiguity to clarity. Alongside my technical work, I am a published speculative fiction author exploring the evolving interplay between human and artificial intelligence. This has strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, a skill I bring into data storytelling and stakeholder communication. Currently based in Stockholm, I am seeking opportunities in applied data science and analytics where I can contribute to data-informed decision-making in complex environments.
- Applied machine learning and statistical methods (Python, SQL) to analyse complex datasets and generate decision-oriented insights - Built reproducible data pipelines, from data cleaning and feature engineering to modelling and evaluation - Communicated analytical results clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Published Juan’s World, a speculative fiction novel exploring the interplay between human and artificial intelligence - Writing narrative-driven works at the intersection of human experience and AI, including A Memoir of Earth: a lyrical planetary autobiography blending science and myth, and Me and ChatGPT, a reflective account of human–AI interaction - Communicate complex ideas across technical and non-technical contexts through clear, structured storytelling - See more in the Publications section
- Completed MSc in Data Science & AI (Distinction), with focus on machine learning and data analytics - Developed predictive and NLP models using Python and modern ML frameworks - Conducted research in physics-informed machine learning for complex systems - Collaborated on applied data projects, focusing on data preprocessing, model validation, and insight communication
- Selected and sponsored for a competitive dual study programme, combining academic coursework with industry rotations in Accounting & Finance, Controlling, and Business Reporting. - Applied machine learning in the bachelor thesis (grade: 1.4 / A+), developing a forecasting model for business planning and price prediction that improved planning accuracy and informed strategic decisions. - Promoted data-driven problem solving within the organisation, introducing ML and analytical methods into planning discussions and supporting adoption of more technology-oriented workflows. - Built a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and data analytics, providing the analytical base for later MSc studies in Data Science & AI. - Graduated with an overall academic result of 1.8 (B equivalent) and received a long-term employment offer after completion.
