I have more than 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Industry. Being a teacher, it is more than just carrying out the curriculum to develop the children holistically. Ensuring the environment is safe and creating a positive learning environment for children is important as it can provide opportunities for learning and exploration. One of the stakeholder for the children are parents and my belief is that parents play a vital role in their children’s development thus educators need to maintain relationship with parents. Communicating with parents is important because it gives chance for the parents to understand their child, strengthen the relationships and support them in extending the learning at home. The experiences I gained from working with different age groups of children over the years has equipped me with the skills to better manage classes and provide assistance to support children’s learning and catering to different learning style. In this way, it creates a huge impact for the children, helping them to lay a foundation towards academic.
