Lawyer, legal researcher, writer and sessional academic. I have practiced or worked in the areas of family law, criminal law and human rights. My research interests include Indigenous rights, gender and the law, and law and the humanities (with a focus on critical legal studies and legal storytelling). Outside of my legal work I am also a sometime creative writer, and have written and published fiction, non-fiction, poetry and criticism in a range of journals, magazines and anthologies, including Limina Journal, Red Pocket Press, Pencilled In, and Right Now.
PhD at Melbourne Law School, commencing February 2024 under the supervision of Associate Professors Peter Rush and Ann Genovese. My PhD looks at creating a migrant's jurisprudence, and examining violence in the home through the eyes of a migrant subject. Research areas of relevance to the PhD include family law, law and humanities, and critical race theory.

Assisting the Law Reform Commission of Western Australia on Project 113 - Review of Sexual Offences. Conducting research and writing where required for preparation of the Final Report.
