I am a dual master’s student in Petroleum Engineering and Data Science at the Colorado School of Mines, where my research focuses on hydraulic fracturing and completions. Working with the FAST Consortium, I apply machine learning to predict perforation erosion and discharge coefficients, blending engineering fundamentals with data science to create tools that support real-time decision-making in the field. Beyond research, I have gained hands-on experience across the energy industry from reservoir engineering, plug and abandonment design, carbon capture and storage modeling to geothermal co-production analysis. These opportunities allowed me to sharpen technical skills in Petrel, CMG, Python, and R, while deepening my understanding of how traditional petroleum engineering can adapt to the demands of the energy transition. What drives me is curiosity and the belief that engineering solutions should be both innovative and responsible. Alongside my technical journey, I have grown through leadership, teaching, and mentorship, experiences that taught me the value of communication, collaboration, and community. I am motivated to keep learning and to contribute to shaping a future where energy is efficient, sustainable, and accessible.
- Conducting research with the FAST Consortium on using machine learning to improve hydraulic fracturing and completions. - Supporting teaching duties (grading, proctoring, office hours), strengthening communication and leadership skills.
- Designed wellbore diagrams for P&A operations using WellShadow and collaborated with geoscientists on cement plug placement in Petrel. - Applied economic forecasting and decline curve analysis to evaluate reserves and project economics. - Worked on CCS projects: modeled injectivity and fault slip risk for Class VI wells, and contributed to EPA permit documentation, gaining hands-on CCS and regulatory compliance experience.
- Used Python and R to analyze wellbore and production datasets, identifying high-potential geothermal regions. - Learned to translate complex data into business recommendations for future geothermal development opportunities.
- Managed commissioning tasks for pipelines, gas facilities, and power plants, ensuring safe startup and handover. - Developed strong project execution and cross-discipline teamwork skills.
- Gained knowledge in pipeline inspection, integrity management, and accessories handling during ROSEN workshops. - Built a foundation in pipeline safety and reliability practices.
