Australia
I’m Jane McFadden — ADHD advocate, podcast host, and educational neuroscientist helping Australia rethink how we understand neurodivergence, motherhood, and women’s health. As the founder and host of ADHD Mums, one of Australia’s leading neurodiversity podcasts (15K+ weekly downloads), I bring complex neuroscience to life through humour, honesty, and lived experience. My goal? To make brain science human — and to make conversations about ADHD, perimenopause, and mental load impossible to ignore. I’ve spent over 20 years in allied health and education leadership before turning my focus to advocacy and storytelling. Now I work at the intersection of media, neuroscience, and lived experience, driving evidence-based conversations that destigmatise ADHD, empower neurodivergent women, and hold systems accountable — from NDIS reform to medication access. 🧠 Educational Neuroscience | Women’s Health | ADHD & Autism Advocacy 🎙 Media & Public Speaking | Podcast Production | Policy Commentary ❤️ Profits support women’s health and neurodivergent community initiatives If you’re a journalist, producer, or brand working on stories around neurodiversity, parenting, hormones, or health equity, I’d love to collaborate or contribute expert commentary. ✉️ For media, speaking or collaboration enquiries: please email [email protected] (DMs aren’t monitored — you’ll get a faster response via email)

Building national awareness on ADHD medication shortages and NDIS reform.
I bridge the gap between neuroscience and lived experience — advocating for women, parents, and families navigating ADHD and neurodivergence. My work spans public speaking, media commentary, and policy advocacy, with a focus on evidence-based reform in ADHD care, perimenopause, and maternal mental health. I bring the data, but I also bring the dark humour — because parents don’t need another brochure, they need real talk and practical support. Recent advocacy includes: National commentary on ADHD medication shortages and access inequities Partnership with government and industry leaders to improve NDIS fairness Frequent guest expert on Sunrise, Mamamia, 9News, 7News, and ABCRadio
