JANDiZ ESTRADA CARDOSO joined Sundance Institute in 2021 to oversee Episodic Programs including TV writers Labs, design + launch the inaugural public facing Pitch Parlor, as well as additional pipelines including Adelante, a Latina-identifying directors program in collaboration with Shondaland, LatinxHouse and Netflix. Formerly, Sr. Director of Talent Engagement & Outreach under the Global Talent Development & Inclusion division for film, tv, and streaming at NBCUniversal. For her first 6years in that role, serving within both Current and Development divisions under the umbrella, she spearhead scouting and designing creative initiatives for emerging actors, comedians, hosts and casting directors. She executive produced the bicoastal NBCUniveral Short Film Festival and the national search and tour of StandUp NBC both awarding thousands in grants as well as talent holding deals to their champions, leading to direct hires on countless shows in-front of and behind the camera. In her freelance career, she has worked on pilots and series with networks including AMC, ABC, CBS, Starz, Spike TV and MTV, and films with studios including Disney, WB, Working Title, Paramount, Universal, New Line and Screen Gems. While at NBC’s New York casting office, which auditions all NBC pilots, she served as Associate on the last season of the Emmy Award winning series, 30 Rock. Proud member of Casting Society of America, Hollywood Radio & Television Society, voting member of the Television Academy of Arts & Sciences, board member for LA’s acclaimed The Groundlings Theatre, and most recent Panorama Jury Member for Series Mania, the largest international Television Festival in Europe. As an instructor, has been featured in 3 books, led master classes across the US & Brazil- voted Backstage Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Award for Audition Coach of the Year. She is a recent recipient of the Golden Eagle Award for Diversity Impact in Television.

Manages the NBC Casting Apprentice Programs in New York for network as well as Los Angles for network and Universal Pictures. Leads and produces other discovery searches including The Star Project with ABFF.

Additionally, manages diversity tracking statistics for all series regular and recurring guest stars appearing on NBC Primetime Programming.
