VRT NU is VRT's online videoplatform. Started from scratch in 2015 and launched on January 30, 2017. Today VRT NU has over 2,9 Mio subscribers. Behind the scenes VRT NU is a mixed team (+/- 20 FTE) of content editors/curators, developers, videoarchitect & projectmanagers.
I'm responsible for VRT's content distribution strategy, sales and contract negotiations with traditional distributors and (new) over the top players for the Belgian and Dutch market. (40Mio business) I define/create/negotiate and implement new businessmodels and product propositions in collaboration with our distribution partners. Furthermore I drive strategic projects with focus on new business opportunities in the area of Internet, TV and Mobile.
