Responsible for running MWD/LWD (Measurement While Drilling / Logging While Drilling) tools/sensors at drilling locations on and offshore to provide Directional data for well placement purposes and Formation Evaluation data. Types of tools/sensors include Directional, Gamma Ray, Resistivity, Neutron Porosity, Density, Sonic, Pressure While Drilling, Vibration, Formation Pressure Tester, Rotary Steerable systems. Experienced in both Positive Pulse and Electro-Magnetic (EM) Telemetry systems. Provide on-site supervision of the Measurement/Logging While Drilling (M/LWD) process including tool preparation, data acquisition (Real time and Recorded), log generation and Quality Control (QC). Install, operate and maintain necessary MWD/LWD surface equipment. Keep client representative updated with day-to-day activities. Keep track of inventory on site, organise tools and equipment arriving and leaving, including dangerous goods.
