About

I am a psychotherapist who works with children, families, couples, and individuals. I feel privileged to be able to do this work and witness my clients heal and get better. This is a very exciting time to be a therapist as we are learning so much from neuroscience about how emotions affect our behavior, how they are stored in the body, and how negative emotions can be healed. So in my work, in addition to traditional approaches, I utilize techniques that focus on the relationship and the feedback mechanisms between the mind and the body in order to promote deeper and more complete healing. My work and my being have been helped and uplifted by mindfulness meditation. I have been practicing mindfulness meditation for over 20 years and have been leading mindfulness meditation groups. Mindfulness helps me to listen deeply and to speak softly without judgment.
