Planning engineer since 1999. Worked in several very different positions, in various industries: Railroad construction, dredging, wet & dry civil works, petrochemical, offshore. Being a scheduler with a practical, down-to-earth approach, people I worked with are happy with the way I get a grasp of things and translate to a proper schedule quickly. The focus lies with construction. Progressing,forecasting, critical path analysis, Monte Carlo analysis, reporting (both narratives and graphical). The little extras are also there: good problem solving abilities, discussions with subcontractors and clients, chasing of punch list items, etc. Always willing to do a little extra to make sure the team as such can continue to get the work done. For example: planning work, making requisitions in SAP, working as a field coordinator where needed, materials management, QC process preparations.
