About

As a driven energy professional with a robust technical background and extensive international experience, I have been active in leading teams and managing high-impact industrial projects under tight deadlines. Currently, I serve as the Executive Director of the International Institute of Nuclear Energy. My journey began at EDF (Electricité de France) in 2009, where I have held several roles: Director of the Materials Aging Institute, VP of EDF Inc's Innovation Lab in California, and Director of Nuclear Export Technologies in Paris. Prior to EDF, I dedicated 19 years to Mines-ParisTech as Deputy Director, team leader, and associate professor, where I specialized in environmental chemistry and hydrodynamic modeling. With a passion for innovation and a track record of leadership, I continue to drive progress in the energy sector.

The International Institute of Nuclear Energy (I2EN) serves the entire nuclear sector by providing scientific, technical, and professional training based on the extensive French educational network. In essence, I2EN acts as a one-stop-shop for providing nuclear training by French experts, and in particular for foreign personnel. To this end, we handle foreign training requests: I2EN receives and analyses training requests from foreign countries. Its trainings are based on the expertise of its network of partners and associates, as well as its deep understanding of the French educational system.

EDF's key mission is to contribute to reducing carbon emissions globally through the development of nuclear electricity generation. I'm also in charge of innovation initiatives for the direction.
