1984-2013: The assignments since 1984 have been a range of positions covering engineering management, system design; technical and economical calculations. Practical experience as mechanical engineer and discipline lead covers design and management of air-condition systems, piping and sanitary systems, both in conventional buildings, PV / wafer factories, shipyards, metal plants (FeSi, Al), cargo terminals, sterile zones, bomb shelters and offshore installations in a wide variety of projects. Specialties / areas of expertise: 2010- now: HVAC / mechanical / Energy senior consultant./ dicipline lead: Municipal water treatment plants (potable and waste) Norwegian building codes (TEK10) Heat efficient buildings Area planning, energy distribution Thermal storage / heat pumps 1984-2010: Specialist in HVAC, thermodynamics and flow dynamics. All-round experience as project leader / engineering leader and HVAC responsible for oil / gas installations, aluminium plants, solar cell production, clean rooms (PV/pharmacutical/composite industry), shelters, offices, hospitals, etc.
Inhouse and external consulting regarding sustainable buildings, new building regulations (TEK10), energy efficiency, thermal energy, thermal storage, heat pump technology. Clients: Central and local authorities regarding out-phasing of fossile fuels, architects (energy planning for project developments).
