Embarking on my career in the engineering department (in Fiber Optic, Elevator and CU Data Harnessing), I honed skills in LSS (green belt certfication), 5S, IPC WHMA 620, quality management, NPI, Process flow and change management. Rising through the ranks, I excelled as a Production Engineering Manager, overseeing technical projects and leading a dedicated team of 5 FTE (mainly focuse on harnessing area in different segments. Subsequently promoted to Production Manager, I directed a workforce of approximately 100 FTE (8 FTE direct, rest indirect), emphasizing Lean principles, productivity, and efficiency. A decisive leader with strong planning and capacity management skills. In my latest role as Product Manager for Elevator Europe, I steer product strategy, shoulder pricing responsibilities, and orchestrate NPI phase-out planning. Identifies and implements opportunities to further develop the business for the assigned “elevator” category to reach market leadership with competitive and innovative products/solutions. Defines the long term product strategy and roadmap of the whole life-cycle, sets priorities and develops a manufacturing strategy to make best use of the Datwyler IT Infra manufacturing footprint for the assigned products/solutions and plants. - Contributes to the capacity planning and takes responsibility for achieving sales volume to fully utilize existing manufacturing capacity - Supports the mid- to long-term business planning and strategy on a plant-, portfolio- regional and company level. Overall responsibility: - Ensures that customers are supported with innovative products/solutions at competitive costs and lead times for the assigned category in all relevant regions (predominantly Europe) - Constantly drives, monitors (and reports out) key performance indicators of the assigned category, such as global revenues and margins, growth and profitability - Contributes to the capacity planning and takes responsibility for achieving sales volume to fully utilize existing manufacturing capacity - Supports the mid- to long-term business planning and strategy on a plant-, portfolio- regional and company level NPD and NPI: - Works on the forefront with Sales, Key-Account Management and regional Product Marketing to identify demand (market potential) and requirements in the regions. - Researches and analyses market conditions, identifies competitors, technologies and customer trends and transforms these into a solid and up-to-date product roadmap - Breaks down the market requirements into a product roadmap and new product design projects. Prepares business plans as well as customer requirements documents and transforms the customer requirements into a functional specification together with R&D. - defines the Global Internal Reference Price - Product lifecycle Managment
