Having worked at every level of the NHS, delivered three national targets and change programmes, worked as an Executive Clinical and Non clinical leader, gained invaluable experience and understanding in the world of Improvement and Education and worked with over 50 Trusts to support real improvement in quality, safety, governance and efficiency (culminating with being asked to support two of the most challenged Trusts in the country) - I have decided it is time for a change. Now working independently, I can offer credible support on a range of topics / projects or programmes of work. This includes improving quality and safety, infection prevention, establishing robust governance systems and processes, undertaking investigations, workforce & leadership development , coaching and mentoring If you have a service or quality issue in the NHS or independent health care sector I can undertake a review, provide feedback and recommendations and where necessary provide on-going support to teams or leaders to implement the actions required to make improvement
Having spent a memorable 13 months at Bartshealth where I learned an enormous amount about leading in turnaround, I have stayed out on secondment to go to another Trust in special measures. The added bonus is that this is my local Trust - so I have personal interest as well as professional in helping to make the improvements identified by the CQC.
