Oversee IT strategy, operations, and infrastructure for the BeNeLux region, ensuring systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. Manage technology initiatives from planning to delivery, introducing solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and service quality. Since April 2025, also responsible for the company’s information security strategy and governance. This includes strengthening cyber resilience, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and safeguarding systems and data through robust policies, controls, and risk management practices.
Led the BeNeLux IT department, managing infrastructure, applications, and support functions. Delivered projects to enhance services, improve efficiency, and introduce new technology solutions across the organization.
Directed primarily infrastructure-focused projects within an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban), alongside selected R&D initiatives. Secured stakeholder buy-in, optimized resources, and delivered robust, high-availability solutions that met strict security and compliance requirements for a global payment platform.
Designed and implemented network and security solutions with security as a central priority. Improved the platform’s performance, scalability, and compliance for global payment services, operating in a regulated environment under PCI DSS standards.
Delivered IT infrastructure and security projects for major telecom and insurance clients. Designed and deployed LAN, WAN, wireless, and security architectures, including a large-scale transformation of a 150,000-user global network environment. Contributed to impact analysis and feasibility studies to ensure performance, scalability, and security across enterprise environments. Also acted as Network Tower Lead internally, providing input on network-related questions and supporting colleagues with technical considerations during project delivery. Additionally, delivered internal network training sessions for new hires to support onboarding and build technical capabilities within the team.
Provided technical support for Cisco security, wireless, routing, and switching platforms in critical customer environments worldwide, including airports, hospitals, ports, and military sites. Diagnosed and resolved complex network issues to restore service reliability and minimize business impact. Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including business units and development, to address product-related challenges. Participated in the “Apollo-Pilot” project, helping to introduce a new global support model within Cisco.
Completed a formal apprenticeship combining practical work in IT systems integration with academic study. Gained foundational skills in network administration, system configuration, and user support while contributing to live client projects.
