• Lead start-up offering the full range of PalletBiz products and services in Germany as a fully integrated partner of the powerful PalletBiz network. • Provide industry customers with first class products (EURO pallets, crates, pallet collars, gitterboxes etc.) and tailor-made services (pallet packing, material handling etc.).
• Drive business development, grow organization and adjust processes in the Central Europe region including team leadership and coaching. • Coordinate business processes, interaction and project management between prospects, customers and the internal organization including customer consulting, production, services, procurement and controlling. • Member of the Management Team.
• Manage the Sanok production plant of the international automotive supplier PASS with over 2,000 employees specializing in system components, rubber hoses, pipe systems made of plastic, steel, aluminum and assembly at the Polish site. Added to this is the implementation of customer requirements at the highest level. • Responsible for establishing and further developing highly effective processes and top quality within a lean management framework.
• Joined the local executive team of Germany-based AGRO to analyze the operations improvement potential at Polish subsidiary Herkules. • Formulated comprehensive performance improvement strategy and program to a) shorted cycle times, b) increase process stability and product quality and c) systematize leadership and training of the team. • Underwent 3-months intensive technical instruction at German HQ on the specific market-leading AGRO technology.
• Co-led and further developed Union’s most important engineering and production site. • Created, implemented and adapted production and product strategy in close collaboration with customers and HQ • Responsible for the Departments Production, Technology and Services, Retail, Purchasing & Strategic Sourcing. • Initiated and managed a number of key projects bringing the operations to the next level including establishment of a machining production (plastic and natural materials products), zinc die-casting production, centrifugal casting department for metal buttons, dyeing shop, assembly department, laser department, paint shop and pouring shop, metal-cutting as well as several solutions for industrial automation.
• Built up, established and then managed operations at newly founded Polish subsidiary of Union Knopf: Departments of Production, Technology and Services, Retail, Purchasing & Strategic Sourcing including Supplier Acquisition, IC Customer Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Cost Management & Controlling, Quality Management, IT, Occupational Safety, Human Resources Management, Recruitment and Qualification.
