    In this role I am the global head of tax of the Caldic Group, a private equity portfolio company owned by Advent International. Caldic is headquartered in Rotterdam with an annual revenue of appr. EUR 3bn and is a global distribution solutions partner active in the Pharma, Food, Personal Care and Industrial segments. I report to the global CFO of the Caldic Group and joined Caldic to set up the tax function and build a global tax team at headquarter level and build connections with the regional tax teams. Accomplishments: - Supported with the acquisition and integration of two regional businesses in LATAM and APAC which tripled the global revenue of the group; - Acted as tax lead on various Merger- and Acquisition transactions; - Hired and formed a global tax team of 3 FTE’s reporting to me at the headquarters; - Established and improved periodic global tax reporting routines and created a monthly routine for global and regional tax teams to share best practices and ways of working; - Part of the project team to develop and implement new tax reporting software within the group and manage the roll out of tax reporting software to all regions; - Developed and rolled out a Tax Control Framework within the group.
