I research how entrepreneurs’ mental well-being affects innovation and employment decisions in early-stage start-ups, and how structural conditions enable or constrain entrepreneurial ventures' ability to solve complex problems at scale. I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Management from the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship from Trinity College Dublin, and a PhD in Economic and Social Sciences from RWTH Aachen University. Professionally, I have two years of experience in management consulting and three years in the banking and financial services sector. I also worked at the interface of science and policy during a six-month internship in science diplomacy at the Swiss Embassy in Washington, D.C. In 2020, I co-founded adam., a multi-award winning spirit brand based on a corn-based vodka. Our product was sold online in 41 U.S. states, offered in select bars and restaurants in California, and delivered in the greater Los Angeles area via Postmates. I exited the venture in early 2022 as part of a founder buyout.

WE•TRST is a fair fashion label based in Heiden, Switzerland. The label's products are vegan, organic and made in Europe under sustainable, fairly paid and environmentally friendly conditions.
Six-month research stay at Warwick Business School under the supervision of Prof. Deniz Ucbasaran to work on a project on entrepreneurs' actions, Covid-19 and regulatory focus.

• Analyzed U.S. science, education, and innovation policy and its implications for Switzerland • Managed the ThinkSwiss scholarship program for U.S. and Canadian students • Reported on science diplomacy issues (Trump and Biden administrations) and entrepreneurship/entrepreneurial geography within the U.S. • Represented the Science Office at internal and external (virtual) events with public and private stakeholders • Assisted Swiss organizations and companies with establishing bilateral relations in the U.S.
