As Sales and application engineering director I was responsible for the sales organization in continental Europe. Responsible for achieving the sales plan and the development of new sales for future growth within the defined territory. Managing the European Application Engineering team and ensures proper support to the entire European organization. Responsible for • The development of the annual sales profit plan and achievements of the annual sales targets. • The development and implementation of local sales/business strategies to provide for future growth, reflecting changing local competitive market conditions. • Sales region continental Europe • Offers and pricing to ensure that local pricing is appropriate to maximize margin, profit contribution and opportunities in each local market. • Understanding and communicating market potentials, opportunities, threats and competition and contribute to overall business and market strategies. • Training and business support to the regional sales team and agents and distributors to maximize presence in the marketplace • Having direct contacts with key accounts and agents & distributors.
