Combined military and contractor experience in providing support on transport of services via networking technologies.
Provide networking and end-client support for users in Pacific Theater during daily operations and exercises.
Experience in building network suites based on requirements of the NSA’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC). Involved in engineering Mobile Access Capability Package (MACP v2.5.1) and Multi-Site Connectivity Capability Package (MSCCP v1.2) for datacenters and installing network devices approved on CSfC Component’s List. Generate and validate Visio Diagrams for new project requirements and for existing network infrastructure. Update diagrams when modifications and/or changes to network architecture. Deploy, troubleshoot, and monitor Cisco switches/routers/ASA and Palo Alto firewalls for 9 coalition enclaves. Implement L2 protocols (e.g. VLANS, spanning-tree, port-channels, virtual port-channels) and L3 dynamic routing (e.g. EIGRP, OSPF, BGP). Troubleshoot/Restore IPsec tunnels between data centers and customer sites. Built organization's COMSEC and Equipment accounts and maintained USAF satisfactory standing for three years. Carry out responsibilities as the COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO) for COMSEC Account, and Equipment Custodian based on USAF regulations and policies. Manage inventory of Type-1 Inline Network Encryptors (e.g. KG-175D, KG-175F, KG-175G, KG-250, KG-255X). Monitor remote connections between our data centers and customer sites throughout CONUS and OCONUS using GEMONE. Generate TACLANE configurations for project requirements. Upgrade TACLANE firmware to compliant version as instructed by NSA. Assist in testing Palo Alto products (e.g. firewalls, security appliances, software), Gigamon products (e.g. physical taps and tap aggregators), and HP Aruba products (e.g. APs, Aruba Controllers/Gateways) and provide recommendations of purchase in upgrading network architecture and/or for project requirements. Assist in generating and/or providing licenses for Palo Alto, Gigamon, Cisco, and HP Aruba Products. Monitor organization's L3VPN circuits with DISA. Involved in establishing network connectivity to remote sites via DISA transport.
Involved in Archon Secure Endpoint Solutions and installed proprietary hardware into end clients.
Experience in troubleshooting Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC). Installed approved IPsec VPN Gateways, Traffic Filtering Firewalls, and MACSEC Ethernet Encryption Devices from the CSFC Components List. Engage customers on project requirements for their site. Generate list of materials for a customer's site based on site surveys and site limitations, and design/modify network topology of customer's site. Engage periodic meetings with our customers, Project Management Office, and Engineering Team on any physical/technical challenges in duration of project. Deploy, troubleshoot, and monitor switches/routers/firewalls for CONUS and OCONUS within the USINDOPACOM Theater. Configure, troubleshoot, and monitor Type-1 Inline Network Encryptors (e.g. KG-175D, KG-175F, KG-175G, KG-250, KG-255X) connections between our data centers and customer sites throughout USINDOPACOM Theater. Generate TACLANE configurations for customers in order to establish network connectivity to remote site. Upgrade TACLANE firmware to maintain compliance with NSA. Carry out responsibilities as the COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO) for COMSEC Account. Implement DISA STIGs. Upgrade firmware to compliant baseline throughout enterprise network, and mitigate low/medium/high/critical findings from Cyber Information Assurance Team. Configure and deploy different models of approved Thin Clients (Dell and HP Thin Clients). Perform layer 1/2 troubleshooting for thin clients that experience loss of network connectivity.
