A rising junior at MIT, I’m pursuing a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science with a possible minor in Music Technology. Before MIT, I earned a bronze medal for Singapore at the International Olympiad in Informatics, where I learned the value of thinking quickly and clearly under pressure... and also that algorithms are more than just a buzzword or conversation starter. I’m keen to explore different perspectives on the tech world and learn how my skills can be applied in diverse domains. These days, I’m especially interested in system and software design and performance, thinking not just about how to implement efficient code, but how to structure, plan and connect pieces into coherent and useful systems. I'm currently interning at Simular AI in the CEO's office. Along the way, I’ve interned at four distinct organizations: conducting research in reverse engineering at Singapore's Defense Science Organization, developing embedded software and testing a tile-grouting robot at Fabrica AI, contributing to a generative AI-powered HR tool at Temus Pte Ltd, as well as building analytics tools for traders at Singapore's Government Investment Corporation. Most recently, I worked with the Traverso lab at MIT, predicting mRNA stability and efficacy in drug discovery. I like to think I am as comfortable with the command line as I am with stepping up to command the room when needed. Beyond tech, I’m active in MIT’s Asian Dance Team (Captain, ex-Cover Coordinator), Sport Taekwondo Club (ex-Treasurer) and E33, our lighting technician club (Training Chair).
